Each tablet contains:-
Allopurinol 200 mg Allopurinol is used to reduce urate concentrations in body
fluids and/or urine to prevent or reverse the deposition of urate/uric acid. |

- certain enzyme disorders which lead to overproduction of urate and
involve:- hypoxanthine guanine phosphoribosyltransferase including Lesch-Nyhan syndrome. glucose-6-phosphatase including glycogeri storage disease. phosphoribosylpycophosphate synthetase. phosphoribqsylpyrophosphate amidotransferase. adeninephosphoribosyltransferase. glutathionereductase. glutamate dehydrogenase. Allopurinol is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium oxalate / phosphate renal stones in the presence of hypemricaemia and/or hyperuricosuria. Allopurinol may be indicated for clinical manifestations of urate deposition or hyperuricaemia and/or hyperuricosuria of varying significance, which may be associated with:- certain acquired or congenital renal anomalies. certain disorders of metabolism. certain endocrine-related disorders. haemolytic anaemias. megaloblastic-anaemia. administration of certain drugs. certain other miscellaneous conditions. |
