Composition:

Each 5-ml contains 125 mg Griseofulvin "Micro size"

Mode of action:

Griseovin: "Griseofulvin " is an anti fungal substance produced by certain strains of Penicillium griseofulvum, or by other means.
Griseovin inhibits fungal cell mitosis by causing disruption of the mitotic spindle structure, thereby arresting the metaphase of cell division. It is deposited in varying concentration in the keratin precursor cells of skin, hair, and nails, rendering the keratin resistant to fungal invasion.

Indications:

Griseovin oral suspension "Griseofulvin" is used in treatment of tinea (Ringworm) infections caused by various species of Epidermophyton, Microsporum, and Trichophyton.
It is general given for such infections that involve the scalp, hair, nails and skin and which do not respond to topical treatments.
